Penne alla Vodka

This simple Classic Pasta dish is so delicious you’ll add it to your list of favorite recipes ūüôā

For a little kick…add more Red Pepper Flakes ūüėČ

  • One 28-ounce can¬†Crushed Tomatoes with their liquid
  • 1 pound Penne¬† cooked Al Dente
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • 10 cloves Garlic finely minced
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Vodka
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted Butter or Olive Oil for finishing the sauce
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian Parsley
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano


  • Heat the Olive Oil in a skillet¬†large enough to hold the Pasta¬†over medium heat
  • Add Garlic to pan and brown slightly
  • Gently add Tomatoes to pan
  • Add a pinch of Salt & Red Pepper. Bring to boil for 2 minutes
  • Add Vodka & lower heat to simmer
  • Add Cream & Butter…stir well…
  • Add Pasta to pan…toss to coat
  • Plate..add Parmigiano & Enjoy!!!
