Potato Onion Flatbread


Flatbreads are perfect appetizers or if you are just looking for a small bite.

Holidays are around the corner and you’ll have friends and family stopping by…Flatbreads are quick & easy to make.

This Potato and Caramelized Onion Flatbread is easy to make and can be a great “base” for any other ingredients you want to add.

I love anything that has potato in the recipe 😀


  • 6-8 Flatbreads
  • 5 small Potatoes…skin on…sliced very thin
  • 1 medium Red Onion….sliced thin
  • 2 cloves Garlic…sliced thinly or finely minced
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil to saute onions
  • 10 or so Chives….roughly chopped
  • Kosher Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil to brush on Flatbreads
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce…optional
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt…optional

Since I was a kid..any Holiday meant Stuffed Artichokes on the table  🙂

They can be a bit time consuming to make…but so worth it!!

I always make a few extra..which never make it to the table…to enjoy the next day!!

I’ve tweaked my Mom’s recipe over the years…and I like to bake them rather than cook via stovetop.

Double or Triple this recipe to suit your needs 😉


  • 4 large Artichokes
  • 1 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. Parsley…chopped
  • juice and zest of 1 large Lemon
  • 2 cloves of Garlic…minced or Garlic Powder to taste
  • 4 – 5 cloves of Garlic…smashed or finely minced
  • 1- 2 cups White Wine
  • 1 cup Water or Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Lava Cakes are one of my favorite desserts. They can be “dressed up” with fresh whipped cream…fresh fruit or even ice cream.

Or…you can enjoy them just as they are with a sprinkling of powdered sugar 😉

They look difficult to make…but you’ll be surprised how easy this recipe is!!

  • 2 sticks Unsalted Butter…about 2 more tbsp. for Ramekins.
  • 4 tsp. Sugar…granulated not powdered
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Cayenne Pepper..just a pinch
  • Nutmeg…just a pinch
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 6 Egg Yolks
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. Almond Extract
  • 12 oz.. Semi Sweet Chocolate…chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups Confectioner’s Sugar

Chocolate Pumpkin Swirl Cake

This swirl cake is scrumptious!!

For Cake:

  • 1 3/4 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted Butter…melted
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 cup Pumpkin…canned 🙂
  • 3 oz Dark Chocolate…melted
  • 2 tbsp. Cocoa Powder…unsweetened

For Glaze:

  • 1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Orange Peel
  • 2-3 tbsp. Milk or Orange Juice
